Burgers and blockbusters come together for Hong Kong’s tastiest take on rooftop cinema yet

Why eat popcorn when you can eat burgers? That’s a question that the world’s cinemas are yet to answer.

Naturally, however, some smart people in Hong Kong (namely Hushup Events) have seen fit to put the two together with the brand new Beef & Liberty Thursday Cinema Nights.

Oh yeah, and the films will be shown on a rooftop. Everyone loves that!

For a limited time only, nostalgic film lovers can grab a deck chair, nestle in among the pot plants on the Wan Chai burger joint’s roof terrace, tuck into a juicy grass-fed burger (what else are burgers supposed to eat?) and kick back to your all time favourite flick.

“With a super cool selection of film classics, this is a delectable Rooftop Cinema experience that promises to have you laughing, crying, and humming the themes tunes all the way home.”

There you have it. Straight from the PR pony’s mouth.

And the PR certainly seems to be working pretty well, as the first three shows (Indiana Jones, The Breakfast Club and Napoleon Dynamite) have already sold out.

There’s plenty still to play for, however, so start saying “errr, no thanks” to popcorn TODAY!
