Have we travelled back to the 2000s? The hottest game of the year was Pokémon, there’s a Power Rangers film in cinemas, and everyone is losing their shit over Britney Spears, a.k.a. Princess of Pop, Godney herself.

Globally, Spears recently made news for changing Israeli politics, but on a more local scale, she’s caused a tizzy after announcing her very first Hong Kong concert ever. Yeah, that’s right. Come June 27, Britney Jean’ll be lighting up AsiaWorld-Expo, fulfilling the childhood dreams of all your friendly neighbourhood millennials.

All tickets are seated, which is probably for the best since we can foresee a lot of 90s kids keeling over at the opening bars of Toxic. Pre-sales are available for Citi Card holders (10am, April 18 to 11:59pm, April 19), HKT The Club members (10am, April 20 to 11:59pm, April 23), and Live Nation Lushington members (10am to 11:59pm, April 22). Tickets will go on general release at 10am on Monday, April 24 on HK Ticketing.

Tickets are priced at HKD588, HKD988, HKD1,288, HKD1,588, and HKD2,088 (anyone who’s eyeing up that VIP ticket better Work Bitch).

Spears will be performing her hit “Piece of Me” show in Hong Kong as part of an international tour, before she ends her four-year Las Vegas residency in December.
