Betty Ting ‘kiss-and-tell’ book on romance with Bruce Lee to be released on death anniversary

A new book reportedly set to reveal the secrets of the long-speculated romance between Bruce Lee and Betty Ting Pei is due to be released on the 42nd anniversary of his death, according to reports.

Huaxi Urban Daily, a Chinese newspaper, claims the book, entitled “The Old Days of Bruce Lee and Me: Half a Lifetime of Practice, a Lifelong Memory”, will be available for purchase in China on July 20.

It is apparently based on an oral account of the pair’s relationship by Taiwanese actress Ting, who’s house Lee died at on July 20, 1973, at the age of 32.

The Hong Kong-American martial arts star had an allergic reaction to a painkiller Ting gave him, leaving her at the centre of controversy and rumours.
