‘Best all-time house music documentary’ in special Kee Club screening

Ever wondered about the history of those noises you dance to every weekend? If so, head down to Kee Club on Friday night for a screening of “Back in the House”, a documentary about the house music scene in New York during the ‘90s.

It’s been voted the “best all-time house music documentary”, but we’ve got a feeling the competition isn’t that fierce.

All the same, the acclaimed film promises to feature the old school deck dons, including Frankie Knuckles, Masters at Work, David Morales, Body & Soul and Shelter.

Oh, the memories!

Director Farid Slimani, better known as DJ Hedi, will be spinning tracks on the dance floor between the two screenings, which start at 11pm and 1am, respectively – so don’t forget to text your mum and tell her you’ll be home late.

The HKD250 ticket (see Coconuts discount below) comes with a standard drink and a one-week “Kee at Night” trial membership.
