But this isn’t just a once-in-a-blue-moon sort of thing, as a virtual art show goes on all through the year on the Asia Contemporary Art Show website, which lets you check out the works online and provides all the names and details of 700 artists from 44 countries.

So scour the website to your heart’s content and find the paintings, sculptures, limited editions and photographs you just have to see at the show.

You can buy them there and then if you’re the impatient sort, at the show if you’re the spur-of-the-moment sort, or after the show if you’re the indecisive sort

What you get at the show that you can’t get online, however, is the chance to meet and chit-chat with 60 of the coveted artists, helping you learn more about their inspiration and hear the weird and wonderful explanations of their weird and wonderful work.
