Amateur photographer captures stunning images of Hong Kong shrouded in fog

Amateur photographer Ching Yiu has captured the amazing scene of Hong Kong’s famous skyline all but completely sunken under a thick blanket of mist yesterday.

Ching, who describes himself as “an ordinary wage earner”, took the photos from Lugard Road yesterday morning at 7:30am with a Sony A6000 camera and a Sony 16-70mm SEL1670Z lens.

“Having been told by the Hong Kong Observatory the weather would be very misty that morning, I decided to go up there early to see if there would be anything special to watch, and luckily I saw something really special,” he told us via Facebook.

He shared the photos on Facebook, where they received over 1,000 shares at the time of writing.

“If the night-time view from the Peak is world-class, then the fog view from Luard Road is universe-class,” he captioned the photos.
