Hong Kong Arts Festival: Romeo and Juliet by Paris Opera Ballet
The Hong Kong Arts Festival kicks off on Friday with Paris Opera Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet. You can stream the award-winning work by the world’s oldest national ballet company for free on the festival’s website for a week from 8pm Hong Kong time on Friday.
Tai Kwun: On Stage Online: The story of “Diary VII • The Story Of……” by Mui Cheuk-yin
From now to March 31, 2022, you can watch excerpts of renowned Hong Kong choreographer Mui Cheuk-yin’s latest work “Diary VII • The Story Of……”, which she debuted at Tai Kwun last year. The performance chronicles her stories with stray cats through text, images, sounds and her agile moves to find subtle parallels between feline traits and her philosophy in life. The video on Tai Kwun’s website also features interviews with her and lighting designer Lee Chi-wai on how they created the moving dance piece.
ViuTV: FB Live from Home with Mirror
For four consecutive Fridays, members of popular Cantopop boyband Mirror will host a Facebook Live on ViuTV’s Facebook at 11pm. Leader Lokman Yeung, Keung To and Stanley Yau will greet fans for the first live this Friday.
