Is there any spirit as versatile as gin? We don’t think so. And clearly, neither do the organisers of the East Imperial Gin Jubilee.
The annual festival celebrating the clear nectar of the gods ahem, gin, is coming to Hong Kong for the first time this year, and will be bringing a veritable smorgasbord of juniper-laden wonders with them.
But as any connoisseur will tell you, the widely varying ingredients, distillation techniques, and flavour profiles of this botanical beverage means that no two gins are the same.
As the exclusive media partner of the East Imperial Gin Jubilee – and dedicated gin-drinkers – Coconuts HK will be hosting two events during next week’s festivities.
To learn more about the diversity of gin in a more hands-on manner (or rather, hand-on-a-glass manner), join Coconuts Hong Kong next Wednesday (Aug. 31) on an exclusive guided tour of the city’s best bars, led by a bona fide gin-ius… completely free of charge!
We’re teaming up with leading craft spirits distributor Proof & Company for a “Gin Ramble”, during which we and 10 lucky Coconuts HK readers will be sampling gin and tonics from The Pontiac, The Woods, Ee Da Le, and Foxglove.
Led by Jeremy Moreau, Spirits Evangelist and General Manager of Proof & Company, we’re confident that the tour will be both educational and delightfully boozy.
