It’s finally here! Hong Kong’s best musical festival of the year (period!) is upon us this weekend. Indie bands from Canada, homegrown artists from HK, wedding singers from Syria, American garage rock and DJs from all over will hit the stage over the course of the weekend. While music will be the primary draw, stalls of food and beverages, an art village and an area for kids to play makes this a perfect family outing. This is HK’s social event of the year. Don’t miss it for any reason.

As of the first of December it’s officially time to ingest the holiday spirit. To aid the process, Hong Kong’s Irish Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Celtic-inspired concert of “music, song and dance for all the family”. Expect bagpipes, singing and a lot of merry Irishmen getting down holiday cheer. What else would you rather be doing on a Sunday?
