In celebration of the annual Rugby Sevens tournament, HK Fan Zone is providing fans and Hongkongers on the whole with six days of music including Canto-pop legends and international artists to rap icons. Keep an eye out for Saturday, when legendary American Hip Hop trio De La Soul takes the stage.

The Underground Festival @ Fan Zone

As if the myriad acts at Fan Zone weren’t enough to keep the party going all week long in the SAR, Hong Kong’s premier venue the Underground will be hosting their 10th anniversary at the New Central Harborfront on Friday night as well. Acts will include Supper Moment, ToNick, Dr. Eggs, Shotgun Politics, Hey Joe Trio, Noughts & Exes, and Bamboo Star.

Turning Apples EP Launch @ Hong Kong Fringe Club March 28

Local five piece outfit Turing Apples are dropping a new EP, Degrading Gracefully, this weekend and will be hosting a show at the Hong Kong Fringe Club to celebrate. According to the band’s press release, the members of Turning Apples are all professed lovers of ‘cheap drinks, pseudo-science and sweet, sweet noise’, so expect an evening full of sweet noise and strong beverages, but no word yet on how pseudoscience will factor in.

Bruno Mars @ AsiaWorld Expo March 29-30

Grammy award winning, global pop icon Bruno Mars will be playing back to back shows in Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld Expo this weekend as part of the singer’s Moonshine Jungle world tour. Tickets range from HK$488 to HK$788.

Cat Power & Arnaldo Antunes @ The Venetian March 29
