The titans of the 1990s contemporary pop scene Matchbox Twenty will be hitting up Hong Kong with their familiar brand of radio friendly rock. The band’s most notable achievements accompanied their diamond selling 1996 debut Yourself or Someone Like You, which included four top 40 hits.
While the band’s popularity never quite reached the levels in the ensuing decades that they had achieved in the late 90s, Matchbox Twenty has continued to tour globally and record new material. Their most recent album North was released in September 2012. Their Hong Kong show comes fresh off their summer tour through the U.S. and Canada with fellow 90s pop rock sensations the Goo Goo Dolls.
