There’s nothing more Hong Kong than a sexy looking cocktail with an unfathomably fancy brand name attached to it, so we couldn’t help being equally excited and disgraced by these ever-so-slightly pretentious boozy offerings from world-class mixologist Lewis Tsang.
Inspired by Jimmy Choo’s Autumn/Winter 2014 Women’s and Men’s collection (seriously), exclusive “His & Her” cocktails will be served to ‘well-heeled clientele’ (and anyone willing to pay HKD185 per drink) at the Ritz-Carlton’s Lounge & Bar until the end of the month.
The ‘Her’ drink, the Cotton Berry Cloud, is a mix of frozen raspberry smoothie and vodka with dashes of lime juice and elderflower liqueur. Topped with a cotton-candy cloud and a golden Jimmy Choo shoe figurine, this tipple promises to dull the pain of those sky high heels you paid a fortune for and will probably wear once.
The ‘His’ fix, dubbed the “Leather Revolution” is predictably more butch, with 18-Years Islay single malt whiskey, Italian vermouth and French herbal liqueur coming together to form a gentlemanly brown hue reminiscent of the Men’s collection. Seems to bit tenuous if you ask us…but at least it sounds strong!
Both drinks are available from 3pm to midnight from Monday to Sunday for the month of September.
