We’re all more than used to the run-of-the-mill Hong Kong wine tasting singles’ events (yawn), but if you’re keen for something with a little more zing, move the fiesta to your mouth with the Citrus’ Oral Stimulation Party.
Now now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It’s nothing like that (don’t deny it, you were thinking it too). Before you run off and practice your tongue tricks, let us shed some light on the subject.
Taking place on Sept. 11 at Wagyu Lounge in Central, the Citrus Oral Stimulation Party is a singles’ mixer combined with the launch of the brand new ‘Miracle Drop’, an apparently amazing invention that turns normal flavours into something drastically different. Vinegar will taste like apple juice (don’t drink too much though), and Guinness will become chocolate milk (same rule applies) for a whole hour. Whaaat?
Neuroscientist and event partner Dr Tangy (we’re not convinced that’s his actual name, but we’ll let it slide for now) will begin the show at 7pm with a talk and demo, proving that this so-called ‘flavour tripping’ experience is 100 percent safe. After everyone’s had a go with various everyday food items, free-flowing drinks and mingling will commence.
Leo Ma, founder of Citrus events, said, “People go to mixers to socialise, meet new friends and maybe more. Oral Stimulation combines that with a tasting experience definitely worth talking about.”
Don’t believe us? Swing by to check it out. for yourself. You might find that your wine tastes just like strawberries and cream, or maybe you’ll get a little more than you bargained for *wink*.
