Why choose between bubble tea and ice cream when you can have both?
Hong Kong’s IKEA has introduced a new dessert in its bistro that combines the best of the two very delicious worlds. For just $13, treat yourself to their limited time-only black sugar bubble tea sundae.
It’s exactly what it sounds like: a sundae topped with milk tea pearls—and for added sweetness, drizzled with black sugar syrup.

The sundae is available at the IKEA outlets in Causeway Bay, Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan and Kowloon Bay.
If bubble tea isn’t quite your dessert of choice, IKEA is bringing back the Darjeeling tea sundae cone they had for a promotional period last year. The sundae will set you back—and yes, you’re reading this right—$4.50.

While IKEA in Thailand sells bubble tea, Hong Kong’s outlets of the furniture giant appear to be the first to offer a bubble tea and ice cream crossover.
IKEA in Hong Kong debuts limited-time novelty flavors from time to time. In April, their tofu pudding sundae was a refreshing spin on the traditional dessert. They’ve also played it safe with a white peach sundae, and gotten experimental with a bamboo charcoal and lychee sundae cone.
