Fancy Belgian brand Le Pain Quotidien to open in Hong Kong this March

International brand Le Pain Quotidien – which now has more than 235 restaurants in over 18 countries worldwide – will be next to join the ranks of Hong Kong’s cheap and cheerful dining scene this March.

Renowned for its unpretentious ambience, Le Pain Quotidien will be serving up “elegant” yet “wholesome” (that standard fusion) boulangerie-inspired fare in the humble confinements of The Avenue Complex in Wan Chai.

Future Hong Kong diners will be able to indulge in their varied menu – incorporating the exciting likes of soups and salads, as well as homemade pastries and artisanal breads – for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Those who aren’t excited by the prospect of the HKD250 corkage fee can also enjoy the chain’s staple dishes at home.

Following the launch of the first Le Pain Quotidien in early March, the brand also plans to open a second outlet during the latter half of the year. Save your pennies for the momentous day.

Le Pain Quotidien, Shop G41, The Avenue, Lee Tung Avenue, Wan Chai (Entrance at Johnston Street). Monday – Sunday, 8-10pm. Tel: 2520 1801
