Dine and Donate: Support health workers through Ovolo’s ‘One for One’ meal program

While we’re grateful that Hongkongers have been able to retain some aspects of normal life during the COVID-19 crisis, it’s important to remember that our city’s hardworking healthcare staff is largely to thank for that.

In order to give back to Hong Kong’s healthcare community, Ovolo Hotels has launched the One For One Initiative, which will provide a free meal to essential workers from local health institutions for every à la carte dish purchased from three of its most popular restaurants.

Participating restaurants include Te Quiero Mucho, the Mexican taqueria at The Sheung Wan, Veda, the group’s flagship vegetarian eatery at Ovolo Central, and Komune, the laidback international restaurant serving South American- and Hong Kong-inspired fare at Ovolo Southside.

To ensure that your meal is counted towards the One For One program, make sure to book a reservation ahead of time through the respective restaurants’ websites.

If you’d like to take advantage of the One For One program a few times, but aren’t too sure about splashing too much cash, don’t worry. Te Quiero Mucho has also introduced a special “No Asterix Menu“, which offers a selection of TQM’s most beloved dishes at the flat rate of HKD40 each for dine-in or takeaway.
