Souls of Hong Kong: Mr Li at Siu Hong, Tuen Mun

SOULS OF HONG KONG – We met Mr Li, a renovation worker, at Siu Hong, Tuen Mun, when he was heading to work. Mr. Li thinks, the Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying’s office is not doing a good enough job, “The cost of living in Hong Kong is extremely high. The government should be doing more to fight inflation – not just paying lip service but actually do something concrete to ease the burden of the grassroots.”

Souls of Hong Kong is a new Coconuts series of street portrait photography inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York. Every human has a story to tell, and we intend to share some from the millions of souls who call Hong Kong home.
