SOULS OF HONG KONG – Brittany and Emily were spotted at Fa Yuen Street Market in Mong Kok. How do they know each other? “Brittany and I are both from Canada but we met each other in Japan three years ago when we were teaching English there. Now I’m visiting my family in Hong Kong and showing Brittany around town. She likes Hong Kong a lot,” says Emily.
Souls of Hong Kong is a new Coconuts series of street portrait photography inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York. Every human has a story to tell, and we intend to share some from the millions of souls who call Hong Kong home.
