Tsim Sha Tsui’s 1881 Heritage has been taken over by a small army of panda bears! Heart Panda’s inaugural public (read: free) exhibition opened on Monday and will remain in the Grand Piazza until Nov. 4.
The Heart Panda exhibition was created to promote public art while raising money to help children suffering from amblyopia (lazy eye) and cleft lips in China. Over 60 giant panda figures were made in various sizes and poses, and then decorated by students, artists and celebrities across China.
We tagged along to the opening ceremony to catch a glimpse of the bears in their colourful livery, and snapped a few photos for the Coconauts who may not be able to make it to TST.

The exhibition is guarded by this fearsome black and white bear, flanked by two rather enormous buddies. Behind them are the smaller pandas, our favourites of which are featured here.

Panda lovers can still pop into TST to see the colourful array of “bamboo bears” until Nov 4., before they’re auctioned off to raise funds for Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation.
