Billing itself as “the original Hong Kong hackerspace,” Dim Sum Labs is for tinkers and inventors who love to create cool things. Equipped with electronic parts, Arduino microprocesors, a RepRap 3D printer, and a CNC machine (what are all these things anyway?), Dim Sum Labs also hosts make-a-thons, where members get together to make gadgets from scratch, and other tech know-how events that will satisfy your inner geek.

Cocoon, Tin Hau

More than a co-working space, Cocoon is a an incubator and community with 100+ entrepreneurs and freelancers in hardware, software, graphic design, social media, and more. Encompassing 14,000 square feet, Cocoon’s eco-friendly interiors boast an indoor café, a 3D printer, 100 hot desks, and check it out! — a Ping Pong table. Cocoon is not as simple as a workspace — it is a friendly and synergistic hub where you can find other co-founders and build a team, raise funds, find paid projects, and connect with investors and mentors.
