We can’t say we were impressed by its production values or wit, but a Gangnam Style parody featuring the faces of Suthep and his crew with Yingluck and her bro in a dance-off has been going viral since Election Day and now has surpassed half a million views.
“Why is this a viral hit?” you might ask. Maybe enough time has passed since the Gangam plague of 2012 that people grew nostalgic for it. Maybe it was the opportunity to see Suthep and his nemeses settle their political differences in a dance battle without that ear-bleeding sound of whistles.
And many people probably wish the difficult political deadlock could just be resolved with an epic dance battle between protesters and the government.
