Three months after confessing on television to putting a hit on her son-on-law, Olympic sport shooter Jakkrit Panichpatikum, Surang Duangchinda has taken it back.
At a Min Buri court hearing, the 70-year-old woman declared her innocence, along with his wife Dr. Nitiwadee Pucharoenyos, alleged gunman Jirasak Klinkhlai and Santi Thongsem, the lawyer accused of arranging the murder of Jakkrit, who was shot in his car on Oct. 19.
In November, Surang had announced in a Channel 3 interview she had Jakkrit killed to free her daughter from domestic violence.
Jirasak, was later arrested and told police Santi had hired him to carry out the assassination.
The case will continue March 24 to consider the evidence gathered.
