Ekapap Khatiyawong was returning to his car last night after delivering products to a client when eight armed men forced him into his back seat with his 12-year-old daughter.
Ekapop and his daughter survived the abduction after a THB300,000 ransom was paid by Ekapop’s wife, and today police today are seeking the gunmen.
After abducting the father and daughter in the Muang district of Samut Prakarn, the men took drove them to another location where they demanded he call his wife and tell her her husband and dauther would be killed unless she transferred THB300,000 to his bank account. After she did so, they drop Ekappop to various ATM machines to withdraw the money. They also stole a gold necklace, Bangkok Post reported.
