A young refugee girl fell to her death from the balcony of an east Bangkok hotel last night.
An 11-year-old Somali girl reportedly slipped from the fifth-floor balcony of the Asia Guesthouse on Pattanakarn Soi 43 while using a mop to reach clothes which had fallen to the floor below.
The girl was found in her blue pajamas with a fractured skull as well as wrist and ankle injuries. Her family was reported to be refugees from Somalia living at the guesthouse.
The body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for investigation and then will be sent to the United Nations, who will provide a funeral service, Spring News reported.
