Sahamongkol Film International officially announced that Tom Yum Goong 2 will be released in Bangkok on 23 October.
The firm said that the THB300 million project would feature action scenes directed by Praj Pinkaew.
In the second Tom Yum Goong, Tony Jaa leads a troupe of action stars including Chicha and Marrese Crump.
Mum Jokmok, Tony Jaa’s partner in the first movie, is said to have a more dramatic role.
Ya Ya Ying from Only God Forgives will also make an appearance in the movie, the Daily News Reported.
