Rod Nam Dam Hua is a traditional ritual that is carried out during the Songkran Festival. During the ceremony, a younger person will present the elder with gifts such as flowers, incense, candles or rice. The supplicant then pours fragrant water through the elder’s hands to ask for forgiveness and blessings as well as to wish them good health.
