China has renewed its pandas’ visas for another eight years at the Chiang Mai Zoo.
Xuang Xuang and Lin Hui, who’ve called the zoo home since 2003 and were the stars of their own satellite channel, will get to stay there until 2023, a government spokesman said today.
The pandas were initially sent to Thailand under a 10-year agreement with the China Wildlife Conservation Association. The new contract continues the growing bonds between the two nations, Bangkok Post reported.
