World of Wires: Man’s shop front hidden by so many wires that no customers will visit! (PHOTOS)

The electrical company has done one Chonburi business owner very dirty last month and it’s costing him nearly all of his income.

When the electricians came for a repair on the street where Somjitrachai Hormsap, 41, has his upholstery shop, they “fixed” an exploded electrical box by installing a massive tangle of cables and wires to “repair” the problem. The tangle is right in front of his shop and now, not only can people barely get into his store, they are also scared of risking their lives to come in by passing all those wires.

It’s surely not the first time that Thailand has tangled with dangling street wires. Why, the country is even known for it. After Bill Gates blogged about it, and tourists have posed with the scary street wires as a joke, the government has sworn that they are going to repair these eyesores. But, that obviously hasn’t happened yet.

Somjitrachai’s shop, in Sri Racha, has been hidden behind these wires for more than a month, reported Thairath.

He has repeatedly called the company to remove or reduce the wires but they have not helped, so he decided to take his story public via Facebook.
