A woman in Udon Thani province believed a cobra that crawled into her bedroom yesterday has brought good luck to her. Even so, she politely requested that the serpent leave her room.
Panicha Kayan, a 27-year-old gas station worker, said she was lying in bed when she spotted a two-meter-long cobra in her laundry basket yesterday afternoon.
She panicked and ran out of her room then decided the cobra must be bringing her good luck, so she presented it with some flowers and peacefully told it to leave her room.
By telling it to leave the room, she means that she called rescue volunteers to catch it.
The snake was released back into the wild, Thairath reported.
