Woman posts social media warning to public after nose jobs go wrong

A woman posted photos of her now-twisted nose on social media after she went under the knife for a surgery that promised to make her look better.

The woman, only identified as Fah, said she and her friends decided to get nose jobs at a clinic in Khae Rai area, Nonthaburi, after seeing good reviews for the clinic on its Facebook page in April.

Fah said she paid THB8,900 for the surgery, which was offered by the clinic at a promotional price. A nose job with a mid-range doctor in a hospital would normally cost about THB20,000.

All went well and Fah walked out with a beautiful new nose, but three months after the surgery, Fah noticed that her nose was tilting to the right while one of her friends’ noses became swollen.

Fah went back to the clinic this month to demand an answer, but they asked her to pay an extra THB5,000 for a nose adjustment, which did not fix the problem.

As for her friend, the doctor had to remove the silicone from her nose, saying her nose flesh was too thin, which led to the problem.

“Why did the doctor perform the surgery for her then?” Fah wrote in her public note on social media.

Now, the clinic’s Facebook page has blocked the victims and her friends.

Fah said that she didn’t want to ruin the clinic’s reputation or take legal action but wanted to warn people to do research if they decide to have plastic surgery, not rely on Facebook reviews, Daily News reported.
