Great news for those who sweat after two minutes in the sun, Thailand is expected to enter its “winter” season as soon as next week.
The cool season will arrive early this year, starting in mid-October and lasting until mid-February of next year according to Northern Meteorological Center Director Methee Mahayotsanann.
But due to the effects of the Kong Rey typhoon, the rainy season is expected to continue in Bangkok at least until this weekend, Post Today reported.
Still, the coming of the cool season is already looking promising. This morning, the temperature on top of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain, dropped to 3 degrees Celsius.
