Investigators say they’ve found an old, American-made machine gun they believe was used in a deadly attack in Trat province this past February that left two children dead.
An M3 machine gun was among a weapons cache raided in the Krathumban district of Samut Sakhon province, police said yesterday. Its .45mm shell casings matched those recovered from the scene of an attack on an anti-government protest on Feb. 22, according to Thai PBS.
Korawit Yosubon, 4, and his sister Patcharakorn Yosubon, 6, were returning home after eating at a KFC when they were shot to death in an attack on demonstrators. Police did not characterize the motive for the attack.
