The Walking Russians: ‘Zombie’ Russians go berserk in Pattaya restaurant (VIDEO)

Three Russian tourists caused chaos in a Pattaya restaurant last week when they started “acting like zombies” and tried to “infect” other customers and staff, according to the restaurant owner.

Staff of Surf Kitchen restaurant said the incident began when a Russian man paid his bill and then pretended to pass out. As worried staff approached him, the man woke up and started acting like a zombie.

We couldn’t make this up.

The first “zombie” then bit one of his Russian friends, turning him into a fellow zombie. Then a third Russian was bitten and became a zombie, too.

In CCTV footage posted online by the restaurant’s owner on Friday, the second “zombie” is seen trying to “infect” another customer, who keeps him away by threatening to throw a chair at him.

“Three Russians came to my restaurant, sat at different tables, and then pretended to be zombies to bite other customers. What havoc,” Krit Boonsawad, the restaurant’s owner wrote on Facebook.

Krit said the Russians at least paid their bills before starting the zombie act. When the staff intervened, the tourists said they were just “performing a show.”

Pattaya News reported many customers ran out and left their belongings behind. No charges have been brought against the zombies.
