A homeowner in Pattaya woke up to his dog’s barking early Sunday morning, and it turned out the fluffy pooch had found an unwelcome guest — a four-meter-long python.
Sombat Wisetsuwan, 55, notified local rescue volunteers after finding a large python climbing up the second floor of his home.
Rescuers arrived at his house in Bang Lamung district, where Sombat and the other locals had been waiting.
Locals told Siamchon News that throughout the night, while many were trying to sleep, a dog’s barking could be heard from time to time. When they came out of their houses to check on the situation, a snake was found making its way up Sombat’s roof.
The snake was caught and returned to the wilderness where it belonged.
