As promised, the heart-warming volunteer that spent his own money creating a Doraemon ambulance has released his follow-up effort — a Minions ambulance.

Naran Saengsinchai, 38, a rescue volunteer in Chonburi, told Coconuts last month that he’d be following up with another themed ambulance and he has not disappointed — this new rescue vehicle features Minions, first made famous by the 2010 film Despicable Me!, everywhere.

The Minions ambulance is designed, much like the Doraemon vehicle, to put patients at ease, reported Bangkok Post.

Naran, who has volunteered with Chonburi’s Peaw Yeang Tai Foundation for more than two decades, debuted his last theme ambulance, which he bought and decorated with his own savings, last month. He estimated that he spent about THB100,00 (USD3,024) excluding the medical equipment.

He said that it makes him happy to see people become soothed in his rescue vehicle or even relax and take a photo despite being in a medical emergency.
