Vietnamese gang busted for robbing restaurant

Police took four Vietnamese men into custody for allegedly robbing a seafood restaurant in the Huai Khwang district yesterday.

The foreign gang was accused of stealing property from Muang Luang Seafood Restaurant located on Soi Pracha Uthit 8. Thidarat Lincharoen, the restaurant’s owner, lodged a complaint with police after a computer, projector screen, two bottles of alcohol and some cash went missing from her store.

Thidarat told police that one of the suspects used to work at the restaurant but was later fired, leading her to believe that the robbery was an act of revenge. The quartet is being held at the Huai Khwang station for questioning, INN reports.
