Below the car-free craziness of upper Silom Road, Thavibu Gallery on Saturday will host an exhibition of new oil and mixed-media paintings by Vietnamese artist Ha Manh Thang.
“Fading Dreams – Disintegrating Realities” builds on the artist’s previous series with themes of memory, history and cultural heritage with inspirations drawn from ancient Angkor and rural northern Vietnamese villages.
The opening reception starts at 5pm on Sept. 20.
