In a WTF moment on a Bangkok road last night, a middle-aged woman was caught on video lying casually on the front hood of a moving taxi and playing with her phone.
Facebook user TJ Kzet Atchanont posted video explaining that the woman, who has not been identified, hopped off a motorbike in the middle of traffic and attempted to get in the yellow taxi, which had a passenger inside. When the taxi driver wouldn’t open the doors, she pounded at the windshield before climbing on the car’s front hood and laying down.
“After the light turned green, the taxi just drove off while the woman was still lying on it. It was so exciting. Not sure what’s gonna happen next,” TJ wrote.
The user, who requested anonymity, told Coconuts that he suspected the woman was actually following the taxi on a motorbike.
“I think she was following the taxi because she tried to open the doors and told people in the taxi to get out. I thought the driver was going to stop the car, but he just kept driving,” he said.
“She was casually playing with her phone.”
TJ said he lost sight of the taxi, and then found it again after it crashed with another car on the road. Well, what do you expect?
“I didn’t know the details of the accident, but it looks like another car was cutting in front of a taxi. One thing for sure, that woman was still there, standing on the roadside.”
