The driver and conductor of one of Bangkok’s no.8 line buses were caught on tape cursing at a passenger who made a complaint about the line’s poor service.
Facebook user Patcharee Pk said a woman was about to board the bus at the bus stop, but the driver did not wait for her to grab her baggage. She ran after the bus and was able to get in when it was stuck at a red light.
The woman then started making a complaint directly to the conductor about the poor service and how often she had to run after bus no.8 to board the bus.
“So this is how bus no.8 is like? I have to chase after the bus all the time especially when you’re the conductor.”
“Shut up. What’s your problem?” the conductor yelled at her.
“You clearly do not have a service mind.” The passenger then commented.
“Just get the hell out then.” The driver joined the conversation. When the woman refused to get off the vehicle, the driver called her “a shameless bitch” and the argument continued as the passenger made a call to the company’s complaint number.
Bus no.8, which runs between between Happy Land Market in Bangkapi district and Saphan Phut Market in Phra Nakhon district, was named Bangkok’s worst bus route last month according to the poll posted on the minister of transportation’s Facebook.
The footage has been submitted to the minister for further investigation, Sanook reported.
