A scaffold collapsed yesterday at the popular Central World department store when an actor and a group of reporters were engaging in a nearby interview. No injuries were reported.
Soap opera star Prin Suparat yelled out as the maintenance structure on the mall’s bridge connecting the second floor to the BTS skywalk suddenly crumpled. He was there to attend a promotional event, which was briefly paused after the incident.
The store’s officials subsequently cordoned off the area with a big blue sheet of plastic to prevent people from entering. They also asked reporters and pedestrians to not take photos of the collapsed scaffolding. No further information was released from Central World.
