All across Thailand orphaned children living with disabilities have become a neglected part of the population and only a handful organizations aid the development and rehabilitation of these young people.
Enter Camillian Home, a Bangkok-based non-profit charity whose sole aim is enriching the lives of those who are mentality and physically handicapped and abandoned. The organization is throwing open its doors on September 8th and inviting visitor to celebrate the expansion of their facility.
The event entitled, Colors of the Heart hopes to inspire charitable giving and volunteers that may better equip their facility to care for special needs children and help them live more full and complete lives. The Camillian Home was designed around a central aqua therapy pool where children are allowed to play and exercise like a full-functioning child. The Camillian Home recently developed an outdoor sensory space full of musical instruments and a sports field that will create a new level of play for their beneficiaries. The play space will be the first of its kind in Thailand.
The home will also showcase the beautiful growing mural art that lines the halls of their facility and wants to ask artists to join on-going project. The event will feature play booths, live music, a charity auction, and food from Nadimos and Gianni’s.
