Unidentified foreigner killed by train

A train struck and killed an unidentified, Caucasian foreigner in Prachin Buri province this Monday.

Pol Sub Lt Sitthichoke Boonto, an officer from Muang Prachin Buri police station, received the report at around 5:30am.

Jaturong Sonrit, driver of the train, said he saw an unidentified man walking on the tracks ahead of him at around 5 am. He was unable to stop in time so he blew the train whistle.

According to the Bangkok Post, the man was unable to dodge the train fast enough and was subsequently hit and killed, Mr. Jaturong added.
