An alleged rape attempt went awry in Pattaya recently when the suspect discovered that his victim was, in fact, a ladyboy.
This morning Pattaya police responded to calls of a rape attempt at a motel. When they arrived, they found the 18-year-old pre-op ladyboy victim awaiting questioning.
The victim said she was on her way back to her apartment when a man pulled over his truck and invited her to go clubbing with him.
She said yes and got in the car but the man drove to the motel instead and tried to rape her, the victim said. While she was resisting, the man discovered she had a penis and ran away from the room.
The authorities recorded the case and are currently pursuing the suspect, Sanook reported.
