In Thailand, “pretties” are ubiquitous. These promotional models, social media influencers and actress wannabes do everything from promote cars at the Motor Show to serve your beer tower at the bar. Being gorgeous entitles them to certain perks, but some of them get addicted to the lush life and the loads of attention. This is when pretties can go bad. An entitled pretty behaving badly is not cute, but it is entertaining.
Here is a roundup of the best times that pretties got ugly:
This girl, Thippawan “Pui” Chaphupuang, went on a talk show and pretended to be possessed by a Thai ghost. The odd video went viral. No one believed she was possessed but everyone agreed she was a bad actress and very hungry for attention:
By covering her private parts in silver tape, throwing on a sheer curtain, and calling it a dress, she hoped to increase her declining fame. Unfortunately, the outfit drew criticism from tabloid websites but didn’t make her any more famous. No one even commented on the Instagram photo of her “dress.”
We’re not sure if it hurt more to have to pull that tape off that the end of the night or to lick the wounds of her bruised ego after the stunt failed to impress.
Just last week, another former Miss Maxim 2010 contestant, Nacharot Ployplye or “Tak Maxim,” was caught stealing a dress worth THB9,500 from Emporium shopping mall. When she was arrested with the frock, she also tested positive for drugs.

Another recent story saw two pretties go head-to-head before one ended up naked and crying in a condo hallway. Viraluk “Manao” Sutthiprapar, a famous “pretty”and 2015 contestant for Miss Maxim Model, came home to the apartment she shared with her boyfriend to find him having sex with a sideline girl and aspiring pretty.
She kicked the girl out into to condo’s hallway naked and made a video of the event. The video was widely shared online even though Viraluk swears she didn’t share it.
These three are far from the worst of the lot when it comes to pretty bad girls with ties to Maxim, however.
This girl, Gaysorn “Looksorn” Limmahasamut, the second runner-up of Miss Maxim 2015, got caught smoking meth with her Singaporean boyfriend during a drug raid in Huai Khwang. She apologized for being a “bad role model” and got fired by Maxim.
But the worst of the lot of Maxim girls gone wild has got to be Kwanjai Khempradab, a finalist in the 2013 Miss Maxim pageant. This girl was caught on video teaching a 5-year-old boy how to snort the dissociative drug ketamine. Literally, WTF.
And this Motor Show pretty and internet idol, Kritrada “Namzom Zomy” Tubtimphol, recently slammed her BMW into another car on Ratchada Road, causing a total of nine cars to crash and injuring two people. Instead of being sorry for causing the crash, she had a breakdown on the roadside and challenged bystanders to hurt her. It’s tragic.
And this girl, model Rattikarn Koomchoom, famous for her big-boob selfies, earned haters online after she let her kids run wild in a seafood restaurant while she vlogged away with her friend before getting into a nasty fight with the restaurant’s manager, claiming that she would spoil the restaurant’s reputation by sharing a bad review with her followers. Apparently, the manager was unhappy because the model was letting her kids run wild, they even used a potted plant as a toilet and vomited on the floor.
Pretty naughty, aren’t they?
