Uber announced its official launch in Bangkok today and is offering a free ride.

Whether you stumble out of Grease, The Overstay or another club at 4am and can’t find a ride – or are late for dinner and live deep in a soi – Uber’s app allows users to summon nearby drivers to pick them up. It even shows where they are and how long it will take to get there.

“Despite being touted as the No. 1 city in the world to visit, it is also consistently rated as having some of the world’s worst traffic,” Uber’s announcement reads.

Uber has already recruited some drivers in the capital and says they’re ready to go now. At 2:30pm today, a few Uber-ready cars could be spotted cruising the streets:

They’ve even recruited popular talker Woody Milintachinda to tout the service.

To catch a free ride tonight, Uber says you can download its app and use promo code “UBERSAWASDEE” to get score a free ride, up to a THB300 value.
