Two Thai women, magnates of malls and auto parts, are regional power players, according to Forbes Asia.
Chadatip Chutrakul, CEO of Siam Piwat, and Somporn Juangroongruangkit, president of Thai Summit Group, stand among the 50 mightiest women in business included in the magazine’s “Power Businesswomen” list published yesterday.
At Siam Piwat, Chadatip, 53, leads the company her father founded, which owns commercial properties such as Siam Paragon, Center and Discovery.
Thai Summit Group is a conglomerate which today counts media holdings such as Matichon, but is built on an auto parts empire with more than THB65 billion in sales last year.
