Two Thai flight attendants among injured in Asiana crash

The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that two Thai flight attendants were about the ill-fated Asiana Flight 214, which crash-landed at the San Francisco International Airport this Sunday.

A Bangkok Post report quoted Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, who identified the two only by their first names – “Mew” and “Eve.”

A representative from the Thai People Association in Northern California confirmed that Eve is still in intensive care at Stanford Hospital.

More than 300 crew and passengers were forced to escape down emergency slides when an Asiana Airlines Flight 214 slammed into the San Francisco Airport runway and caught fire. The accident resulted in at least two deaths and left scores of others injured.
