Two suspects in car scam surrender to DSI

The Nation is reporting that two men involved the debacle surrounding the illegal import of luxury cars are expected to surrender to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) today. The provincial Police Region 3, on the other hand, has issued an arrest warrant for a key witness that can implicate a gang that is bringing these luxury cars into the country without paying the proper taxes.

According to DSI chief Tarit Pengdit, Nareunart Kuansawat and Thanan Kuansawat will present themselves to the case investigators at 10am this morning after evidence and witness statements linked the two men to the high-end car tax evasion case.
