A dangerous game gone wrong or a criminal cover-up?
Police are investigating the deaths of two young boys in Nakhon Ratchasima, whose bodies were found removed from their heads on a rail line.
Emergency first responders found the boys had been dead for about two days. One victim, judged to be around age 5, was found beside the tracks with impact wounds to his legs, hands and feet. The other boy was between 9 and 13 and had also sustained serious impact trauma. His head could not be located.
Autopsies are being conducted.
Police suspect the boys might have been killed and then placed on the rails because both their heads were removed and their bodies appeared to have been set intentionally on the tracks, Pattaya Daily News reported.
