This 12-year-old girl’s gun cleaning and assembling skills will amaze and disturb you at the same time.
Lisa, a sixth grader from Chiang Mai, showed how she disassembles a Smith & Wesson 686 revolver with .357 Magnum, cleans every piece, and puts it back together within 10 minutes.
And it’s not only revolvers, Lisa can also assemble pistols, rifles, shotguns, and other types of guns. According to Sanook, she started learning at the age of nine from her father, who cleans and fixes guns for a living.
Lisa’s father, Prajak Wasuwat, 51, said that he owns lots of guns, which meant that he had to take them to a service shop to be cleaned. He decided to learn how to clean and assemble guns himself, and later made it his business. He would park his van in front of police stations in Chiang Mai to offer his services.
He explained that he was worried that Lisa might find guns and play with them without him knowing. He wanted to make sure that she knew the dangers of the weapons and how they work, so he taught her about them as well as how to disassemble and fix them.
